Why does the price change with vehicle size?

A 4WD has more paint, more glass and a much bigger cabin than a sedan, and doing it properly takes longer. Rather than quote one price and rush the bigger vehicles, we price by size so the time on the job matches the car.

What if my car is much dirtier than normal?

Our prices assume a car in standard condition. Heavy staining, strong odours or severe contamination take extra time, and we'll talk to you about the cost before we start. We never add a charge without agreeing it with you first.

How long does an exterior detail take?

About an hour for a sedan, a little longer for an SUV or 4WD. We'll give you a time when you book so you know how long we'll be there.

Everything in our exterior detail — pre-wash and contact wash, wheels deep cleaned, glass, a hydrophobic protective coat and tyre shine — plus the full interior: vacuum through seats, carpets, mats and boot, all surfaces wiped and degreased, interior glass, and trim dressed and protected.

Yes, as long as there's a park we can work around for the few hours it takes. Plenty of our full details get done while the owner is at their desk.

We cover South East Melbourne, roughly 45km out from Dandenong. That includes Dandenong, Keysborough, Noble Park, Springvale, Hallam, Endeavour Hills, Narre Warren, Berwick, Cranbourne and Pakenham, along with the areas around them.

Do I need to be home during the detail?

No. As long as we can get to your car and it's parked somewhere we can work, you can leave us to it. Plenty of our customers hand over the keys and get on with their day, or leave the car at work and come back to it finished.

Wherever it's parked, as long as there's room to walk right around it. A standard driveway is ideal, and a carport or an open workplace car park works fine too. If you're not sure whether your spot suits, send us a photo and we'll tell you.

How far ahead do I need to book?

A few days is typical, but we often have same-day availability. If you need something today, call 0422 379 033 rather than booking online and we'll tell you straight away what's open.

We'll call you and move the booking to the next suitable day at no cost. We'd rather reschedule than rush a job in weather that won't let the finish hold.

An Exterior Detail starts at $79, an Interior Detail at $149, and a Full Interior & Exterior at $229. Prices step up with vehicle size — sedan, then SUV, then 4WD or ute. Whatever you see on this page is what you pay at completion.

No. Travel inside our service area is included in the price, whether you're in Dandenong or Pakenham.

A full vacuum through the seats, carpets, mats and boot, every surface wiped down and degreased, interior glass and mirrors cleaned, and the plastics and trim dressed and protected.

Do you charge more for suburbs further away?

No. There's no call-out fee and no travel charge anywhere in our service area — a detail in Pakenham costs the same as one in Dandenong.

Do you have a shop I can drop my car to?

Accepted Answer

No, we're fully mobile and that's deliberate. We come to your home or your workplace, which means no drop-off, no waiting room, and no second trip to collect the car.

Isn't this just a car wash?

Accepted Answer

No. A car wash takes surface dirt off. We lift road grime and brake dust properly, clean the wheels rather than rinse them, and leave a protective coat that helps your paint shed dirt and water for weeks afterwards. The finish lasts, and so does the protection.

How long does the protection last?

The hydrophobic coat we apply keeps working for several weeks. How long depends on how much you drive and whether the car is garaged — a car parked outside and driven daily will need it sooner than a weekend car.

Koch Chemie, P&S Detail Products and Gyeon. They cost more than supermarket products and they're gentler on paint, which is the point.

Is a full detail worth doing before I sell the car?

It's one of the most common reasons people book us. Buyers judge a car in the first ten seconds, and clean paint, clean glass and a fresh cabin change what they'll offer. Tell us it's a pre-sale detail and we'll put the time where buyers actually look.

Around two hours for a standard interior. Add-ons take longer on top of that — allow another 45 minutes to an hour and a half depending on what you add.

Do you shampoo or wet-extract the seats and carpets?

Not as part of the standard interior detail. Wet extraction is a separate add-on: Mat Extraction & Deep Clean is $49 and Upholstery & Seat Extraction is $75. If your carpets or seats have soaked-in stains, add one of those when you book and we'll bring the time for it.

Yes, as a $49 add-on rather than part of the standard interior. Pet hair is slow, hands-on work and it needs its own time on the job, so we price it separately instead of building it into every quote. Add it when you book and we'll allow for it.

Can you get rid of smells in the car?

Usually we can improve them a lot, because most odours come from something we're cleaning anyway — spills in the carpet, food under a seat, damp mats. Strong or long-standing smells need extra time, and we'll tell you what's realistic before we start rather than after.

Around three hours for a Full Interior & Exterior. The Premium Full Detail runs to four hours or more, because there's more time on the car.

What's the difference between a standard detail and a Premium Detail?

Our Premium Interior and Premium Full Detail packages are designed for vehicles that need extra attention, think heavier dirt, ground-in stains, or cabins that haven't been cleaned in a while. They include additional time (up to an hour more) for deeper stain removal, odour elimination, and spot treatment that a standard detail doesn't cover.

Yes. For vehicles beyond what a Premium Detail can address, heavy neglect, embedded staining, spills, or odour issues, we offer a Restoration Detail. We inspect the vehicle first and provide a fixed price before any work begins, so you know exactly what to expect.

No, you don't need to be present as long as we have access to your vehicle and it's parked in a suitable location. Many customers leave their car in the driveway or at work and we take care of the rest.

It depends on the package. An Exterior Detail usually takes about an hour, a standard Interior Detail around two hours, and our Premium and Full Detail packages can take three to four hours given the extra care involved.
